LTC insurance is an insurance policy that pays for your stay and the skilled or personal care provided by these services.
Skilled care is usually needed 24 hours a day for medical conditions that require the care of professional personal such as registered nurses and therapists. The care must follow a plan covered by a physician.

Long term care can also include care management service which will evaluate your needs and monitor and coordinate the services needed.
